In 1925, ROTA developed the world’s 1st automatic ampoule filling and closing machine. Since then, we at ROTA have been among the pioneers of aseptic filling. Several new developments in house guarantee a continuous expansion of our portfolio: In the meantime, in addition to individual machines, we build completely modular lines and have been washing, sterilizing, filling, closing and labeling vials and objects up to 250mL in all shapes, sizes and materials for over several decades. In the “packaging” of any sterile liquids – of course still in ampoules – Rota remains a leader to this day.
The further development of our labelling machine allows over 10% faster labelling with now up 27,000 objects/hour.
We meet the requirements of the highest product safety in the pharmaceutical sector and still remain flexible with the possibility of labeling different objects, e.g. vials or ampoules on the same machine. In principle, our machines are designed to label all cylindrical objects with a diameter of up to 36mm.
By the way: although higher capacity, our upgraded labelling machine still has a small footprint, as overall dimensions remain unchanged.
